Biography

Molly Jorgensen is a dance artist/athlete, a dance science and somatic movement educator/therapist, and a lifelong learner in the world of embodiment research and movement culture. She believes in helping students uncover their own voices and is passionate about guiding others through their personal growth and artistic journeys. Her choreography has been showcased at The American College Dance Festival's Gala Concert, and she's received support from the Pocatello Arts Council, the Idaho Commission on the Arts, and the National Endowment for the Arts to further her creative and professional artistic work. Molly helped create IDEO (Idaho Dance Education Organization), a state affiliate of NDEO (National Dance Education Organization). Before moving to Rexburg, she co-directed I-Move and Danson, Idaho State University's faculty and student dance companies, and co-founded Extendance, a program that was created to nurture an active and professional dance community in Pocatello, ID. She established her LLC, MBody Movement and Somatic Wellness, in 2018. Molly enjoys teaching Laban Movement for Actors and recently taught a series of Laban workshops and choreographed for BYUI's Spring 2024 theater production of Little Women. Most importantly, Molly is the proud mom of four beautiful, creative, and energetic kids who keep her busy, grounded, and full of joy.
