Harrell feels that it is essential for students' education that faculty continue in their academic and spiritual progress while they teach.

The course encourages students to use non-partisan, solution-oriented communication strategies as they engage in community advocacy projects.
"I've always enjoyed family history research, and I found a way to tie two interests together, GIS and family history," said Smith.
Matthew Geddes and his wife Christine will retire this year after more than 70 years of combined teaching expereince.
