The Brigham Young University-Idaho Collegiate Singers will perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on Sunday, March 18, at the Tabernacle on Temple Square in Salt Lake City.

The Collegiate Singers will join the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in their weekly broadcast of Music and the Spoken Word. The group will perform two pieces, "My Soul's Been Anchored in the Lord" and "No Time." They will also join the choir for two selections: "Guide Us O Thou Great Jehovah" and "Take Time to Be Holy."

The Collegiate Singers is comprised of 50 singers and generally tour every other year in addition to many on- and off-campus performances. During 2011, in addition to their regular concert series, the Collegiate Singers toured the Midwestern states and performed Handel's Messiah. To date this year, they have hosted two high school festivals and participated in the Department of Music's presentation of Bring Forth My Zion, the 11th work in the biennial BYU-Idaho Sacred Music Series.

Music and the Spoken Word is a live broadcast featuring the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and airs every Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Locally the broadcast can be seen on BYU Television, available on CableOne channel 13, Dish Network channel 9403 and DirecTV channel 374.
