Are all of your Spring Semester classes eligible for federal financial aid?

Remember, to be considered a full-time student for federal financial aid you need to be enrolled in at least 12 program applicable credits. Click the links below to make sure your classes are program applicable.

Check

Have you checked the Program Applicability Tool?

Use the Program Applicability Tool (PAT) to double-check your registered classes are eligible to be considered for federal financial aid.

Check

Have you made changes to your classes or major?

Program applicability is based on your officially declared program (your declared major and all other required components - emphasis, minor, or cluster).  For financial aid purposes, if you plan to change your program, you must submit your change to your academic advisor at least two weeks before the beginning of the semester. Changes made after this time could result in a loss of federal financial aid for the upcoming semester.  If you have changed your program or any of the classes you initially registered for, use the Program Applicability Tool (PAT) on your student tab to verify that your registered classes are eligible to be considered for federal financial aid.

Check

Are you a new student receiving federal financial aid?

If so, make sure that your declared major is correct and check your registered classes with the Program Applicability Tool (PAT) on your student tab to verify that your classes are eligible to be considered for federal financial aid.
