Kevin L. Packard is a member of the Accounting faculty at BYU-Idaho. Since earning his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Accounting from the University of Utah, he has worked in various companies in positions such as tax manager, treasurer, and chief financial officer. For the past 13 years, he has taught courses in introductory, intermediate, and advanced accounting. He also teaches a Book of Mormon class.
Packard has served the Church in various positions including as a missionary in the Texas Houston Mission, stake president, counselor in a stake presidency, bishop, and in the Young Men organization. Currently, he serves in the Rexburg Temple and as the Assistant Area Auditor for the sixteen stakes located within the Rexburg Coordinating Council.
Packard and his wife, Lori, are the parents of six children and six grandchildren. He enjoys reading, writing, gardening, fly-fishing, and spending time with his family.
