Waddoups has a degree in Marketing, an M.B.A., and is a Certified Investment Manager Analyst (CIMA). He graduated from Ricks College, Utah State University, University of Phoenix, and attended specialized course work at Wharton School of Business. He has spent 28 years as a financial advisor.
Waddoups and his wife Linda met at Ricks College 30 years ago. They have two children, a 25-year-old son who is home off a mission attending BYU-Idaho, who will soon graduate with a degree in Biology. He is going to be pharmacist. They also have a 15-year-old son who thinks he’s Daniel Boone. They hoped for three girls between the two sons but that’s not what the Lord blessed them with. They feel very blessed to have these two wonderful sons.
Waddoups is an avid gardener, skier, runner, hiker, fly-fisherman and reader. He spent 18 straight years in four different bishoprics and serves as a stake president currently.
