Class Outline

Nothing is more important than coming to Christ. He is the Savior of the World!

Members of the church have always studied the Christmas story and learned about the Savior (Luke 2).  Many families struggle with how to help their families come to seek and find the Savior. In this class, we will discuss what the shepherds, Simeon and Anna, and Mary and Joseph did to seek and find Christ.  We will also explore what they did once they found Christ and how it affected their lives and how it is a pattern for us.

Learning Objectives:

  1. What did the Shepherds do to Seek and Find the Savior (Luke 2:8-20).
  2. What did Simeon and Anna do to Seek and Find the Savior (Luke 2: 21-38).
  3. What did Mary and Joseph do to Seek and Find the Savior (Luke 2: 40-52).
  4. They give us a pattern of critical things we need to do to seek and find the Savior!
  5. They also show us what we should do after we find the Savior and the difference he makes in our lives (Luke 2:16-17; Shepherds, Luke 2:25-29; Simeon, Luke 2:36-38; Anna, Luke 2:45-51; Mary and Joseph).
  6. Video: Nativity on or Joy to the World
