Parker received his Associates in Gen. Ed. from Ricks College, his B.S in Family and Home Development from Utah State University, and his Maters of Education from the University of Phoenix.
Parker’s emphasis in his bachelor’s degree focused on marriage and family therapy. Throughout his five years as a bishop, he learned much about marriage and parenting. He grew up in a family of eight children and absorbed much by experience and observation. He has learned a great deal from teaching seminary for the last twenty years.
John and Michelle Parker have four children, three girls and one boy. They range in age from fifteen to eight years old. They are all very playful and love adventure. Parker loves people and the outdoors. He has a love of chocolate and building things. He enjoys camping and rock climbing with his family. He has served as a bishop and a member of the stake presidency.
