Amanda Buswell

Biography

Amanda Buswell is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Connecticut. She has over 11 years of experience working with troubled youth and counseling couples and families. Early in her career, Sister Buswell worked for Wasatch Mental Health’s “New Vista” program, a group home for sex-offending youth.

She has her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from BYU and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University.

Following the completion of her master’s degree, Sister Buswell and her family relocated to Granby, Connecticut where she co-founded “Women On the Way (WOW)” a weekly empowerment group for high-school-aged girls.

Sister Buswell owns a private practice and works as the Director of Clinical Services for the Town of Granby Youth Service Bureau. Amanda Buswell and her husband, Benjamin, met in Rexburg, Idaho while attending Ricks College and have been married for 13 years. She is a mother of three: Samantha age 8, Guy age 6 and Jack 18 months and is an unashamed knitting addict.
