Eligible Students Welcome at the BYU-Idaho Counseling Center
Mental health challenges can impact anyone, regardless of education, geography, faith, or family circumstances. For some individuals, seeking counseling services can be difficult for a variety of reasons and circumstances. We are committed to advancing equity and a culture of inclusion.
BYU-Idaho’s Counseling Center is committed to assisting students in identifying and resolving emotional and psychological problems that interfere with effective physical, spiritual, social, or academic functioning in a safe environment. Counseling services are free to currently enrolled students who are taking at least 6 credits and assigned to a track. Mental health medication management is available for $10/visit. Services available to students include individual therapy, couples therapy, group therapy, medication management, and online self-help resources.
Our staff consists of licensed mental health professionals and medical providers. Our services are confidential and are kept separate from a student’s academic record. We seek to help all feel welcomed and valued. We care about your well-being and are here to help you succeed.
