What Are Resumes and CVs?
A Resume is an advertisement of who you are professionally and what you have to offer potential employers. Because it is intended to get you job interviews, it should be a concise, error-free, one-page summary (rather than a life history) of your most relevant qualifications.
A Curriculum Vitae (CV) is a detailed snapshot of your academic and professional journey, showcasing your education, experiences, awards, and accomplishments. CVs are often required for applications to research positions, scholarships, graduate programs, or other positions requiring a comprehensive overview of an applicant’s qualifications.
